Martha Shaffer Navarre

Martha Shaffer Navarre passed away at age 49 on November 16, 2008 at Arbors of Waterville. She was born March 22, 1959. She was a 1977 graduate of Northview High School. Martha then attended BGSU and graduated from the Toledo Hospital School of Nursing in 1983. She was employed as a compassionate nurse at several Bowling Green area nursing homes. Martha loved gardening, her many pets and drawing; but most of all she loved her family.Martha is survived by her parents, Ruth M. Jeffries and Roland A. Shaffer, her beloved daughters, Nicole and Cristina Navarre, brother Andrew M. (Carolyn) Shaffer, nieces Ellen and Madeline Shaffer and nephew Ian Shaffer. The family wishes to thank the staffs of Arbors of Waterville and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their kindness and loving care. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 20, 2008 at 3:00pm at St. Marks Lutheran Church, 315 South College St., Bowling Green, Ohio. Pastor Dale Schaefer will be officiating. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. The family has entrusted the Cremation Society of Toledo with the care of Ms. Navarre. Online condolences may be made below.
