Martha Dawn Friess

Dawn Friess, 94, passed away peacefully December 12 at the home of her daughter in Maumee where she had resided for the last 8 months as a very pleasant and grateful guest.Dawn was born August 24, 1919 to Elmer and Mabel Bergen in LaGrangeKY.She held professional positions in Kentucky and Ohio, retiring from Bostwick Braun Co. in 1984. Though she said she was happiest when she was working, her focus was always on her family. Dawn enjoyed many activities in her retirement including golfing, yoga, gardening, skiing, bowling, sewing, quilting and especially traveling.Dawn was preceded in death by her sister, Kathleen and brother, Bill, husbands Maynard, Ray, and Royal. Dawn is survived by her son, Bill McFarlan of WhitewaterCO and daughter, Pat (Dan) Naylor of Maumee, grandson Michael (Michelle) Naylor of Wooster OH, great grand children Lincoln and Stone Naylor, and special friend Barrett Kiff.In honoring Dawns wishes, there will be no visitation and interment will be at a later date in Kentucky.
