Martha "Marty" Davis

Martha ‘Marty’ (Stone) Davis, age 83, of Wauseon, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Toledo Hospital. She was born in Toledo, Ohio, on August 10, 1940, the daughter and youngest child of Earl and Naomi Stone.

One of Marty’s greatest enjoyments in life was her family, by whom she will be deeply missed. Marty took great pride in caring for her home, where she recently won Yard of the Month in her community. In her spare time, she enjoyed garage sales, decorating for the holidays, Hallmark movies, and family get togethers, where she was known for her famous sloppy joes.

Left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Kathi (Johnny) Flores, Kristine Liner, and Bobbi Compton; one brother, Irving Stone; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild due in June of 2024. She is predeceased in death by her husband, Robert Davis.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Holland-Springfield-Walker Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Hwy, Holland, Ohio, 43528 on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 1-4 pm.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in memory of Marty to the Toledo Area Humane Society at Toledohumane.org, as she was an avid animal lover.

The family also wishes to thank the Toledo Hospital staff in the Adult ICU for the compassionate care showed to their mom.
