Marquita J. Gresham

Marquita J. Gresham, 84, of Toledo passed away at her residence on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. She was born on April 3, 1934 in Toledo to James and Gertrude (Snyder) Talbert. Marquita graduated in 1952 from Holland High School. For several years she worked at the Andersons before her retirement in 2003. Marquita enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking her famous orange cookies, enjoyed going to Keenland and Saratoga Springs, baseball games, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving is her longtime companion, Allan J. Hess of Toledo; children, Julie (Marc) Perkins of NC, Larry (Diane) Dunbar of Toledo, Deborah (Robert) Schmidt of Toledo, Mike (Blanche) Dunbar of WA; and grandchildren Marc & Jaclyn Perkins, Darin & Devin Dunbar, Bobby, Angela, Jon & Kate Schmidt Marquita is preceded in death by her parents, and husband. Per her wishes Marquita’s ashes will be scattered and services will be private. Memorial donations may be made to any charity of your choice in Marquita’s name.
