Marquise Cortland

Marquise Derrick De Paul Cortland, born February 7th, 1991, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully on March 18th, 2025, at the age of 34.

Marquise loved to cook. He also loved spending time with family and friends. Marquise obtained his GED through the state of Ohio.

Marquise is survived by his father, Derrick Jones; daughters, Ciara Cortland, Kiara Cortland, Marquisha Cortland, and A’Mila Cortland; sisters, Mo’Nicque Cortland, Moriyah Walker, Tyra Walker, Jasmine Jones, and Brittany Jones; and brothers, Tyrone Walker, Robert Hines, Derrick Marte, Derrick Jones, and Rashawn Jones.

He is proceeded in death by his mother, MaLynnda Walker; nephew, Braelyn Cortland; uncle, Rhami Said; auntie, Marla Cortland; and also a very special brother in law, Christopher Glover-Burr Sr.
