Mark Lee Varner passed away peacefully in his sleep Friday, April 14, 2023 at Promedica Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, Ohio at the age of 63.
Mark was born in Toledo, Ohio to Nathan and Arlene Varner. He lived in Michigan for most of his life and was an avid football fan who loved to cheer on the Detroit Lions and University of Michigan. He attended classes at Monroe Community College in hopes of becoming a chef. He enjoyed cooking for family and friends as well as cooking in several restaurants. Mark also very much enjoyed countless hours doing woodburning and crafting with his laser machine. He was an excellent teacher, who loved to share his knowledge and loved to make projects for others.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Arlene; brother, Douglas Varner, as well as an infant sister, Mary. He is survived by his brother, Gary Varner; daughters, Jennifer (Richard) Jagodzinski, Julie Kurdziel, Michelle Wright (significant other Brent Cooper), and Anna Varner; niece Shannon Varner and nephew Jason (Rachel) Varner.
