Mark A. Kesler

Mark Allan Kesler, 59, Tiffin, died December 17, 2023, at his home after a long illness.

He was born in Tiffin, on January 25, 1964 to Margaret Rose Kesler (Dale Eugene Kesler) and Lawrence Norris Whatley. He attended Hopewell Louden, Old Fort and Vanguard-Sentinel Vocational School. He then entered the U.S. Marine Corps and received an honorable medical discharge.

For over a decade he was long-haul truck driver. He also had been a sales representative at Sears in Tiffin, worked for Chaney Roofing and held other jobs over the years.

Mark enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, stargazing, cooking and watching nature documentaries.

He married Kathleen Nancy Rohrbacher in 1985, who survives.

Also surviving are his sons, Kevin (Tracy) Kesler and Mark (Hannah Wilson) Kesler; four grandchildren, Tristian, Sadie, Sofia Jo, and Alasdair Kesler; his brother, Perry Kesler; three sisters, Tammy (Eric) Dreager, Donna Kesler and Hope Kesler; his sister-in-law, Brenda Grieve; and brother-in-law, Mark (Debra) Rohrbacher.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, and an infant daughter, Gwendolynn Marie Kesler.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
