Mark David Hintz, 34, transitioned into the arms of Jesus on January 3, 2023. He was born on February 16, 1988 in Toledo, Ohio to Richard Jr. and Marcie Hintz.
Mark graduated from Paradise Valley High School in Phoenix, AZ. During his high school years, he liked participating in roller hockey and played bass guitar in school and in a rock and roll band with his friends. He had the opportunity to take a 9 day trip into the Grand Canyon with a friend, and also liked skiing with his Arizona cousins. He spent his summers on trips to San Diego, Los Angeles, and trips to Ohio to spend time with his Grandparents and cousins there. After high school, Mark moved back to Ohio. He worked at a number of restaurants and factories. Mark enjoyed building computers and repairing watches, and was a big fan of soccer, as well as basketball and football. He was a dog lover and especially loved his dogs Ryu and Molly.
Mark is survived by his parents; brother, Adam (Nikki) Hintz; grandfather, David White; uncles Howard Hintz, Brian (Donna) White; aunts, Beth (Markley) Hintz, Lisa (Frank) Ibarra, and Miriam Brunstetter; nieces, Amelia Hintz and Addison Hintz; cousins, Brian Hintz, Erin Domes, Holly (Jeff) Juersivich, Kelsey (Mark) Carroll, Anna Brunstetter, and Austin Brunstetter, and Special Friend Jennifer Dankmer.
Mark was preceded in death by grandparents Richard and Susan Hintz, and Ruth Ann White.
A memorial service will be held for Mark at Maumee Community Church, 2214 Tedrow Toledo, OH 43614 on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 11:00 am. Those wishing to donate in Mark’s memory are asked to consider Maumee Community Church.
