Mark Charles Henry

Mark C. Henry passed away on October 22, 2026, with his loving family by his side.

Born in Toledo, Ohio, Mark was the son of Richard and Barbara (Bruzda) Henry.

Mark graduated from Woodward High School in 1979. On September 23, 1989, he married the love of his life, Kelly (Sneed) Henry. Together, they shared 37 years of love and memories. During the last few years of Mark's life, Kelly was his primary caregiver. Her unwavering strength, dedication, and compassion in caring for Mark never went unnoticed.

Mark spent much of his free time fishing and hunting. He was known for talking a big game and would constantly remind everyone that he could outfish and outhunt them any day. Mark also loved to cook and bake. Every Christmas, he and Kelly shared the yearly tradition of baking Christmas cookies, and they were the BEST!

If you ever had the chance to sit down and talk with Mark, you knew his sense of humor was unforgettable. He loved telling jokes and always had something funny to say. He never took life too seriously, and his humor and easygoing nature made him someone people couldn't help but love.

Mark was one of the proudest Papas you could ever know. He loved his three grandchildren, William, Ethan, and Scarlett, more than life itself. They were his pride and joy, and being their Papa was one of his greatest joys in life.

Mark is survived by his loving wife, Kelly (Sneed) Henry; his daughters, Ashley (Erik) Stinson and April (Brian) Mata; his grandsons, William and Ethan; and his granddaughter, Scarlett; his father, Richard Henry.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Henry; and his brother, Douglas Henry.

Fly high, Dad. We'll be waiting to hear that familiar "Howdy!" when we see you on the other side. We love you so much! Go Bucks and Go Browns!

A memorial Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 5153 N. Summit Street, Toledo, Ohio 43611, on October 29, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. All family and friends are welcome to attend.
