Marjorie Patterson

Marjorie Ann (Merhab) Patterson, age 96, left us peacefully on January 20, 2025, to be with the angels. Marge was born on November 14, 1928, in Toledo, Ohio, to Michael and Frances (Stofft) Merhab. She married the love of her life, Jack Patterson in 1953.

Marge graduated from The University of Toledo in 1950 with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, then continued working there for several years.

She will be terribly missed and fondly remembered as "Gaga" by all who knew her for her heart of gold, love of life, wit, and positivity. She loved to entertain friends and family in her home and remained "young at heart" until the very end.

Marge is survived by her daughter, Sheri (Tim) Hanna; grandson, Timothy Navarre (Olga Martinez) of San Marcos, California; sister-in-law, Dolores Patterson; along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack; brothers, Howard and Harold Merhab; sister-in-law, Patricia Merhab; and brother-in-law, Robert Patterson.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Kingston of Sylvania and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for the loving care They provided for Marjorie. Those wishing to donate in her memory are asked to consider these facilities.
