Marilyn's favorite person in the world was Dr. Charles Valone, she believed in him unconditionally. We would like to 'Thank' Dr. Valone and his Awesome staff/nurses for the years of compassionate care they provided my mother with. She truly loved you all and always left the office with a Smile on her face. We would also like to Thank Promedica Hospice of Sandusky County, The Hospice Nurses and Aides for their exceptional kindness and care they provided my mother in her final days. We appreciate all you did.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Jim; her parents, Willard and Dorothy Eckel; her sisters, Louise Metzger and Juanita Weber; brother, John Eckel; niece, Cheryl Lippert, and grandson Nick Wurm. Marilyn is survived by three children, James (Shelly) Wurm, Janet (David) Eckhardt, and Richard "Rick" Wurm; 9 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Marilyn is also survived by two sisters, Dorothy Ehrenfried and Vivian (Ron) Vandergrift.
