Marie Yvonne Laporte

Marie Yvonne LaPorte, age 71, was welcomed home into the arms of Jesus, on April 15, 2024. She loved to garden, and her special touch was seen in every garden she planted. Marie was also known as the "cat lady". She spent many years fostering and rescuing cats that others had abandoned. Marie also carried a strong faith. Her legacy to put Christ first and follow Him will be passed on for many generations.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Michel Goins; son, Shane Janicki; two sisters, Pat, and Sue Thomas; six grandchildren, Hannah and Ethan Goins, and Mason, Kylie, Brandon, and Caleb Janicki.

Revelation 21:4: “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
