Marian E. Suckow

Marian Elizabeth Suckow passed away peacefully on June 25, 2020. She was the daughter of Roy and Merita Peterson. Marian served in the Navy in WWII and was stationed in Washington, DC. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin where she met her husband, Edgar Suckow. Her degree was in Child Development, which was appropriate, because she was a child at heart. She taught school in Menominee Falls, WI. She had four children of her own, Richard, Kurt, Barbara, and Greg. Marian had a second career as a pre-school teacher in South Lyon, Michigan. She was the loving grandmother to Jay (Kelly), Lindsay (Michael), Joel (Jennifer) and Stephanie (Anthony). She loved her great grandchildren Connor, Emma, Angie (Suckow); Karolyn, Aryeh, Elyse, Theodore, Henry (Riesen); and Andrew (Powell), with whom she had many wheelchair races. Her wit, wisdom and love will be missed by all. There will be a small family service when she is laid to rest with Ed and her family in Waterloo, WI.
