Margaret A. Wurst

Margaret (Gass) Wurst, 86, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023 at Charter Senior Living in Sylvania, Ohio. She was born August 2,1937 in Toledo, Ohio to John and Alice (Allen) Gass.

Margaret married Richard Wurst on May 18, 1957 and they had three children. Together they planned and took their kids on yearly vacations that over the years covered the majority of the states and also Canada and Mexico creating wonderful and lasting memories. Family time was extremely important to Margaret. Most Sundays during her kid's childhoods were spent at their grandparent's home enjoying games, sports, and special meals. Memories of those visits are treasured to this day by her kids.

Margaret is survived by her daughters, Kathryn Blaine and Lori (Paul) Long; son, Jeffrey (Dawn) Wurst; grandchildren,

Matthew and Nicholas (Shirley) Blaine, Andrew (Mackenzie) and Steven Long, and Emily and Eric Wurst; great granddaughters, Eleanor and Guinevere Blaine and her sisters, Nancy Campbell and Mary Johnson. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 63 years, Richard; her son-in-law, John Blaine; and her grandsons, Eric and Brian Long.

A celebration of Margaret's life will be held privately.
