Margaret K. Wenzel-Colon

Margaret “Peggy” Kathryn Wenzel-Colon, 55, of Monroe Michigan, passed suddenly on Friday, April 2, 2021. She was born on June 13, 1965 in Monroe, Michigan. The daughter of Charles and the late Mary J. (Sisung) Wenzel of Monroe, Michigan. She went on to marry Carlos Colon in Monroe, MI. Peggy graduated from Monroe High School and then went on to graduate from Monroe County Community College with a degree in Culinary Arts. She is preceded in death by her mother Mary J. (Sisung) Wenzel; grandparents Charles Sr. and Margaret Wenzel, and James Sr. and Kathryn (Dusseau) Sisung. Peggy is survived by Carlos; her father Charles; daughter Kathryn; granddaughter Aubree; brother John (Crystal) Wenzel of Petersburg, MI; sisters Wendy (Jeff) Gleim of Charleston S.C. & Jennifer (Jack) Braunstein of Monroe, MI. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place.
