Margaret Jane Sibley (Peg), 88, of Toledo died peacefully on September 21, 2011 surrounded by family. She was born into the loving family of Leon and Edith Miller on November 3, 1922 in Morton, Indiana. Peg was a hard worker all her life, known as a jack of all trades. Peg retired from St. Vincent Hospital in 1985, where she worked as an admitting clerk. She and her loving husband, Bruce, resided at Clarklake, Michigan and Englewood, Florida for much of their retirement. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary together.Peg enjoyed spending time with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She especially had a love for babies. She and her husband travelled extensively and often took grandchildren along. She also enjoyed quilting, flowers, golf, and bridge. She will be remembered for her warm smile, caring demeanor, openheartedness, and chocolate chip cookies.Peg was preceded in death by her sister Eleanor Clemmons, daughter in law Cheryl Sibley, grandson Matthew Sibley and best friend Tess Stallkamp. She will be remembered by her husband, Bruce; children Charles, Deborah (Steve) Geeting, Fred (Fran), Susan (Richard) Mefford, Doug (Diana), and Scott (Cathy Kuzma); sisters Mary McHaffie and Betty Sadowsky (Bob Clarke); brother Leon Miller (Jackie); 14 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.A luncheon will be held to celebrate her life at the Ward Pavilion at Wildwood Preserve Metropark, 4830 W. Central Ave., Toledo, on Sunday September 25, from 1:00 to 5:00.Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice. Online condolences may be shared below:
