Margaret "Cookie" Lashuay

Margaret Alice (Myers) Lashuay, 74, of Toledo, OH, died quietly at her home on Sunday morning, June 25, 2023. Under hospice care, she succumbed to a series of illnesses occurring over the last twelve months.

She is survived in her immediate family by her husband, Robert "Bob" Allen Lashuay and sons, Robert "Rob" James Lashuay and Jamie Allen Lashuay.

Born on February 21, 1949 and affectionately known as “Cookie” to family and friends, she was a 1967 graduate of Bedford (MI) High School and married Bob on October 29, 1971.

She was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker for over 51 years. Her hobbies included ceramics, sewing, flower gardening, and supporting local wildlife including bluebird, hummingbird and deer populations.

So He Put His Arms Around You And Whispered “Come To Me”

You Didn’t Deserve What You Went Through And So God Gave You Rest.

God’s Garden Must Be Beautiful, He Only Takes The Best.

And When We Saw You Sleeping, So Peaceful, Free From Pain,

We Could Not Wish You Back To Suffer That Again.

It Broke Our Hearts To Lose You But You Didn’t Go Alone,

For A Part Of Us Went With You, The Day God Called You Home.

Services will be private; immediate family only.
