Margaret Maggie Kent

Maggie Kent passed away unexpectedly on February 8, 2017, in her home in Sylvania, Ohio, at the age of 87. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. Maggie relocated from Fife Lake, Michigan to Sylvania, Ohio to live near her daughter Susan in 2008, although she considered herself an “up north” girl all her life. She will be remembered for and by her many life-long friendships. With Maggie, once a friend, always a friend. Maggie loved to bake, sharing her cookies and breads with friends and family. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary. Maggie was preceded in death by her husband, Burt, children Linda Larivee, George Parrish Jr., Craig Parrish, and Paul Parrish, and grandson, Scott Larivee. She is survived by her daughter Susan (Tom) Broze, grandchildren Mark and Tracy Larivee and Erika and Ingrid Broze, as well as great grandchildren Mark, Nick, and Samantha. A memorial gathering and luncheon will be held at Convent Park Apartments, 6606 Convent Blvd, Sylvania, Ohio at noon on Friday, February 17th. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Muscular Dystrophy Association.
