Margaret Givens

Margaret Givens was born on February 21, 1934 to the union of Fred and Margaret Ashford in Brazil, Mississippi. In 1955 the family moved to Toledo, OH. Margaret later on met Sim Perry, to this union 3 children were born; Beatrice Wiggins, Bobbie Barber, and Joyce (Greg) Morris. Margaret Givens accepted Jehovah in 1957 and is a member of the Maumee Congregation under the coordinator of Daniel Brown. Margaret Givens attended school in Brazil, MS. Margaret worked various jobs at St. Vincent Hospital, Hillcrest Hotel, and Hunts. Margaret Givens enjoyed being a Jehovah's Witness and was faithful in the ministries and enjoyed being a Pioneer. Margaret Givens was preceded in death by her husband Leo Givens; both parents Fred and Margaret Ashford; daughter, Beatrice Wiggins; granddaughter, Shevella Perry; siblings Millie Peeples, Betty Ashford, Freddie Ashford, Willie Ashford, David Ashford and Johnny Ashford. Left to cherish her memory are daughters Bobbie Barber and Joyce (Greg) Morris; brother JD (Sandra) Ashford; two grandsons; 4 granddaughters; 2 great granddaughters; 4 great grandsons; 7 great-great grandsons, and 2 great-great granddaughters. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Margaret's daughter Joyce (Greg) Morris and granddaughter Pinky.
