Marc D. Smith

Marc Daniel Smith (Thor Campbell) passed away September 29th, 2020, at 5:40 a.m., with his loving Mother, Grace Elizabeth Campbell, at his side, holding his hand.  Marc and Liz had a very close relationship, that will endure beyond this journey, more like a sister and brother bond at times.  We all know the saying, “There’s nothing like the Love of a Mother for her child”, well, Liz shows that in every way.  Marc and Liz have been blessed to have each other.  Marc also loved Liz more than anyone can imagine.  Marc loved his pets, enjoyed riding his motorcycle, archery, firearms, quoting comedies, fitness, hiking, and making people laugh.  Marc will be dearly missed by a large Campbell/Miller family and friends.  Marc has maintained close relationships with his immediate family, his sister Melanie Pridemore of Mineral Ridge, OH,  Grandmother Patricia Miller Campbell and other members of his family,  Joyce Campbell of Tampa, FL, Chuck Campbell and Anai Estevez of Tampa, FL, Delmar and Heather Campbell of Columbiana, OH.  Marc enjoyed connecting with his first cousins Kyle and Alaina Campbell of Newark, OH, Alyssa Campbell and Matt Blancett of Galloway, OH, Charles III and Carmen Buffalini of Seattle, WA.  Marc is at peace and reuniting with his Grandfather, Charles Campbell, Great Uncles, John, Bunt (Merle), Junebug (Sherman), Huck (Dennis), Everett Campbell, Uncle Ed and Aunt Nora Miller, and Joyce Ann Campbell.  There are many other Miller and Campbell cousins that have been part of Marc’s life and he appreciated and loved all of them.  There will be a future memorial gathering for Marc, until then, please send your thoughts and prayers to his Mother Liz.  Rest in Peace Thor Campbell.  You are missed and will never be forgotten.  We love you!
