Malissa A. Dye

Malissa Ashley Dye, age 35 years old, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Toledo Hospital, Toledo, Ohio. Malissa attended Bryan High School and was a proud stay at home mom and dog trainer. In her spare time, Malissa enjoyed camping and ghost hunting. She had a love for animals, especially her own pets, and was a passionate advocate for the LGBTQ+ community.

Malissa was born on January 23, 1985, in San Luis Obispo, California, the daughter of Mike Petree and Alta Lorentz.

Left to cherish her memory include her children, Audree and Jacob Petree; siblings, Sharon and Thomas Petree; and father, Mike Petree. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alta Lorentz; aunt, Jackie; uncle, Kevin; and both sets of grandparents.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Memorial Donations are suggested to the American Heart Association, in honor of Malissa.
