Lynn Ann Ferguson

Lynn Ann (Villhauer) Ferguson, age 67 years old, passed away on February 9, 2024, at ProMedica Flower Hospital, Toledo, Ohio. As a lifelong resident of Toledo, Lynn attended St. John’s the Baptist Elementary School and graduated from Notre Dame Academy, in 1974. After high school, Lynn pursued her career in nursing, and attended Owens Community College for her LPN and RN certifications. Lynn married the love of her life, Chuck, and settled in Point Place, to raise their family.

In her younger years, Lynn's life centered around cherished moments with family and friends. She enjoyed playing euchre and looked forward to monthly restaurant outings with her friends, finding joy in shared laughter and companionship. Lynn volunteered for over 20 years with The Friends of Maumee Bay organization, in Oregon, Ohio.

Lynn was born on November 14,1956, the daughter of Leonard and Sue (Abele) Villhauer.

Lynn will be deeply missed by her children; Corey (Michelle) Ferguson and Kelly (Harry) Proestos; 4 grandchildren; one brother, Richard (Diana) Villhauer; two brothers-in-law, Paul (Pam) Ferguson and Doug (Dolly) Ferguson; one sister-in-law, Shaun Ferguson; and many other loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Lynn is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chuck; one brother, James Villhauer; one sister, Diane Miller; and one brother- in- law, Bruce Ferguson.

A special thank you to the many friends she made at Alexis Gardens, Partners in Home Care, and Amada Toledo, who helped support Lynn through her later stage of life.

A memorial gathering will be held at Holland-Springfield-Walker Funeral Home on March 12, 2024, from 4:00-7:00pm, with a memorial service immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to The Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio.
