Lynda Phillips

After fighting many of life’s battles, Lynda Jo (Luther) Phillips, 68, known to many loved ones as “LeLe,” received her wings on March 10, 2025, in Toledo,OH. She was born in Toledo on December 22, 1956, and was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Heidtman (Hood), and father, Wayne Luther.

Lynda attended DeVilbiss High School and was a proud member of the Class of 1974. She worked as a manager at Speedway gas station for 20 years before retiring, later holding various roles at Family Dollar and in caretaking.

Lynda had a passion for reading, planting flowers, making candles, playing cards and decorating—she loved anything hands-on and creative. But above all, she loved her family.

She is survived by her son, Daniel (Brittney) Phillips; grandchildren, Delaney, Darian, Demetrius, Bentley, and Malaya; sisters, Cyndy (John) Frank and Wendy (Gary) Michalski; nephews, Jonathan (Sarah) and Alex (Tiffany), Hank; neice, Elizabeth ; stepchildren, Dajuan Turner, Maryona Wilder, Marquisha Loveless, and Macarré Turner; as well as many cherished loved ones who became family over the years.

Lynda’s courageous smile, kindness, creativity, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. I love you, Mom!
