Ludmil Georgiev

Ludmil Georgiev Georgiev, 66, of Bowling Green, OH passed away peacefully in his home on September 18th, 2021 surrounded by his family. Born in Pleven, Bulgaria on November 11th, 1954, Ludmil loved music, reading, and cycling. He began his career in Pleven as a high school teacher in Bulgarian language and literature and was admired and cherished by his students. He later became a well respected mental health counselor in Toledo, OH. Ludmil was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by his wife and best friend of forty years, Rozita Boteva-Georgieva and his loving son, Georgi Georgiev. There will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later time. Contributions can be made to the family for the placement of a memorial bench along the Slippery Elm Trail in Wood County where Ludmil enjoyed walking and cycling.
