Louise A. Colosky

Louise A. Colosky passed away peacefully in Toledo Ohio on May 21, 2020. Louise was born in Plainfield, New Jersey on August 13, 1929 to the late William and Alice Johnston. She worked at Mac Trucks for several years before marrying Benjamin Colosky in 1953 and starting her family. Family meant a lot to Louise. She enjoyed raising her family, watching her grandchildren grow up, and welcoming her great granddaughter in to the world. Louise spent close to the last 50 years of her life in the Sylvania and Toledo areas of Ohio. She volunteered at Lake Park, on the Flower Hospital Campus, for 13 years.  She enjoyed gardening, knitting, crafts, collecting angels and antiquing with friends. Louise was predeceased by her parents and all but one of her siblings.  She is survived by her husband of 68 years Benjamin Colosky, sister Helen Johnston, son Charlie Colosky and wife Shari, daughter Janice Miller and husband Terry, daughter Susan Hickman and husband Bruce, grandsons Sean Davis and Christopher DuVall, granddaughter Jessica DuVall and great granddaughters Hannah Davis, Lauren Davis and Kiera Strickland. The family wishes to thank the dedicated individuals from ProMedica Hospice, Friends of Family and Prime Home Health Care who devotedly cared for her.
