Lori A. Kaminski

Lori Ann (Rossdeutscher) Kaminski passed away in the comfort of her home on February 12, 2022. She was born on October 5, 1961, to Gerhard and Joyce (Sampson) Rossdeutscher in Toledo, Ohio. Lori grew up alongside her sister, Leilani “Lani” Rossdeutscher and brother, Kurt Rossdeutscher. She graduated from Whitmer High School in 1979 and received her cosmetology license there. Lori was a hardworking hairdresser for over 40 years, renting out booths at The Main Attraction and Sheer Productions in Toledo, Ohio. She was diagnosed with ALS in August of 2019 and fought a strong battle up until her passing. Lori married John Walter Kaminski on March 22, 2000 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Together, they raised their daughter, Natalie Joyce Kaminski, alongside many of their beloved pets. Lori had a strong passion for taking care of animals. She loved her pets as if they were her own children. She also enjoyed gambling and could take on anyone on the dance floor. Lori was very loved at work and attracted many people with her charismatic and loving personality. Being a hairdresser was her true calling and she made many lifelong friends through her craft. Lori is survived by her husband, John; beloved daughter, Natalie; parents, Gerhard and Joyce; siblings, Leilani Rossdeutscher, Kurt Rossdeutscher and Jeff (Niki) Schroeder; nieces, Sierra and Sophia Schroeder; nephew, Blaise (Jill) Morrison; and great-nephew, Gibson Morrison. Lori’s Celebration of Life will be held on March 26, 2022, from 12-5 pm at the Ward Pavilion at Wildwood Preserve Metropark located at 4830 Central Ave, Toledo, Ohio 43615.
