Loretta Helene Globensky

Loretta H. (Wood) Globensky, 63, of Toledo grew her wings on July 5th, 2023 while surrounded by her children. Loretta was born on June 14th, 1960 to Lawrence and Virginia Wood. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Jimmy Pigulski and granddaughter Vanessa Globensky.

Loretta married Mike Globensky at the age 13 in Kentucky and devoted her young life to caring for the home and children they had together. Loretta was a wonderful cook and kept a very clean home, two of the attributes that were passed on to her children. During Loretta’s working years she held positions as a cashier at many different gas stations throughout Toledo. Loretta always met her customers with a great big smile and a loving heart. Many customers returned again and again just to see her.

Loretta was one of six children; Jimmy, Billy and Joyce Pigulski were three of her older siblings that she looked up to, Tommy was a sibling her heart ached to see since she was a child and Maria was the sibling she grew up with. Loretta had six children of her own; Christina (Globensky) King, Michael (Andrea) Globensky, Jillene (Walter) Godley, Paul (Tasha) Globensky, Jessica Wood and Justin (Cierra) Neubert. Loretta has many grand and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service is being planned by her children in order to share their stories and heal their hearts.
