Linda S. Panyuscsik

Linda Sue Panyuscsik, age 75, passed away on February 23, 2022 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born November 30, 1946, to the late John Panyuscsik and Hazel Margie Rawlins. Lynn was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend; known by many as “Grammy”. Lynn spent most of her career in sales and retail. She worked at Walmart for 13 years until she retired due to her illness. Lynn enjoyed baking, crafts, flower arranging, interior design, reading, and loved making something out of nothing. As most of her family, friends, and neighbors know, Lynn loved to decorate inside and outside of her home. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren more than anything. Lynn spent a lot of time at Larchmont Elementary School, helping wherever was needed and was known as “Grammy Gaudet” since they could not pronounce her last name. She was very fortunate to have many great friends throughout her life and one specifically, Donna Lowe, who helped with many of her doctor appointments and procedures. They also enjoyed many shopping trips and lunches together. Lynn loved her church family and held very strong in her faith. She found peace in listening to Christian music and gospel hymns. She had a love for all animals, especially the family dog, Noodles, and her cats, Sasha and Pumpkin. Lynn was known for her loving and gentle personality. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. We would like to thank all the staff and nurses at Hospice Northwest Ohio for taking such good care of Lynn. Left to cherish her memory are her loving daughters, Sherri Stoll-Gaudet and Stacy (Ray) Laraby; granddaughters, Brittany Laraby, Danielle Laraby, Chelsea Gaudet, Morgan (Chad) Smith; great-granddaughter, Kennadi Schaefer; great-grandsons, Brayden Limes, Jax, Ryker, and Emmett Coates. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Panyuscsik and great-granddaughter, Kalli Rae Schaefer. A service for Lynn will be held at Fairgreen Presbyterian Church, 3220 W Laskey Rd, Toledo on Saturday, March 12 at 11:00 am with a celebration luncheon to follow. A 3 pm committal service will be held at Troy Township Cemetery in Luckey, Ohio. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to consider her daughters, Sherri Stoll-Gaudet and Stacy Laraby.
