Linda Marie Earhart, age 76, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on May 27, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
Born on July 5, 1948, in Toledo, Ohio, Linda was the daughter of Lester and Helen Schultz. She graduated from Devilbiss High School and went on to earn a degree in Education from the University of Toledo. Linda began her teaching career in special education, later transitioning to a traditional classroom setting after taking time to stay home with her children.
A woman of strong faith and compassion, Linda was involved in the Lutheran Church throughout her life. She joyfully led Sunday school and vacation Bible school for many years, touching the lives of countless children and families with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication. Linda lived out her faith by volunteering at Hospice of Northwest Ohio where she supported patients and their families at their most difficult moments.
Linda had a love for singing that brought joy to those around her. You could always hear her singing camp songs or hits by The Beach Boys or folk ballads. Linda had a passion for traveling and experiencing different cultures. She brought this passion home with the experience of hosting exchange students from various countries, building lifelong connections that crossed cultures and continents.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Helen Schultz. She is survived by her devoted husband, Courtney Earhart; her loving children, Kendra (Dan) Pinkelman and Robert (Traci) Earhart; and her adored grandchildren, Lilly, Sam, and Seth Pinkelman, and Alex Earhart. She is also survived by her brothers Gary (Anne) Schultz and Bill (Sharon) Schultz, along with nieces and nephews.
Linda will be remembered for her kind heart, generous spirit, and the deep love she had for her family, friends, and faith. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched.
