Linda Dunn

Linda (Heller) Dunn, age 79, passed away on January 9th. She left this earth while in the loving care of Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Linda was diagnosed with Leukemia just one week before her death. Linda was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 10th, 1934, the daughter of Adolf and Mary Heller. Linda lived in Toledo her entire life where she worked and raised a family. As a teenager, Linda worked as a soda jerk in a drug store in the old south end. She later worked at Lion Store and then AAA, and found her career in banking at First Federal Savings and Loan where she retired after twenty years.Linda was a loving mother and grandmother. She will always be remembered by her family for her generosity and independence. She would often bake, cook, sew, and crochet for her family. She was so giving, always working to make their lives easier. She put her family first. Her guidance, advice, and wisdom were often sought and will be missed dearly. She is survived by her children Mark, Karen (Scott) Arend, and Cheryl (Bill) Hunt; grandchildren Kristine, Jaclyn, Tiffany, and Zoe, and brother Edward Heller. Those wishing to give memorials in Lindas memory are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. A private funeral service will be held for the immediate family.
