Linda M. Braden

April 12, 1956 — August 28, 2025

Linda M. Braden, age 69, passed away with her children by her side. Linda was born to Mary C. Obee and Ruben (Del) Brewer, both preceding her in death.


Linda is survived by and was a loving, proud mother to Christina Dunn and Carl Schwirzinski II (Bridget). She was a very involved grandmother to David Dunn, Isabella, CJ, and Sophia Schwirzinski.


Linda was modest about her achievements. She graduated from Owens Community College with an Associates Degree in Science and became a Registered Nurse. Linda later graduated from The University of Toledo with a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Healthcare Administration. She completed her college degrees with a Master's Degree in Library Science from Kent State University. Linda retired as a Registered Nurse.


Linda's love for reading and knowledge along with the fine arts was passed onto her children and grandchildren. Linda was very creative. She shared her creative gifts through sewing, painting, crocheting and crafts. Her creative talents will continue for generations through her children and grandchildren.


Linda was an avid sports fan of her grandchildren, attending baseball, hockey, softball, volleyball and football games.

Linda coordinated many family trips that included Disney World, Cedar Point, camping, day trips, park visits and late night ice cream runs with her grandchildren. She was proud of her grandchildren and loved them equally even though they will dispute that.


Linda's love, strength, perseverance, and resilience will guide her family through the years without her.


Linda is also survived by her siblings, Deborah Brewer/Bakken (Stephen Bakken), Alex Brewer, Patricia Ovalle, George Ovalle, Nina Ovalle, Maria Ovalle, Francisco Ovalle (Kelli), Randy Brewer (Sonya), and Cindy Ahrman (Dave); her Aunt, Carol Grel; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins, extended family, in-laws, and friends.


A celebration of life with family and friends will be held at a later date.
