Leonard E. Jacobs

Leonard E. Jacobs passed away into the presence of his Lord and Savior on December 30, 2020. He was born in Monroe MI on December 31, 1947 to Donald and Francis Jacobs. After moving to Toledo he attended Whitmer high school graduating in 1965, he then continued his education at Macomber Whitney in Tool and Die. He began his career at Pioch then moving to The Mold Shop and finally retiring in 2016 from DRS Industries. Len married his high school sweetheart Patsy on August 9, 1969, raising 3 children together. Len was a proud member of The Lutheran Church of Our Savior, serving as a Sunday school teacher, youth advisor, and as council president. Len was an avid hunter, mainly pheasant, and fisherman. Along with his love for his cats and pet fish he was a big fan of The Ohio State and the Cleveland Indians. Spending time with his family and grandchildren meant the world to him. Len was preceded in death by his parents; brother Larry and grandson, Tyler. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 51 years, Patsy Jacobs; son, Jeffrey (Renee) Jacobs; daughters, Tamara (Roy) and Bethany (Ryan) Werstein; brother, Dennis (Martha) Jacobs; sisters, Michelle (Donald) Lojewski and Tonia (Tony) Rowland; grandchildren, Alexandria, Marissa, Nathan, Austin Jacobs, Caleb Werstein, Analysia Lopez; and great-granddaughter, Harlie Corre-Jacobs and several close nieces and nephews.  Services will be private with burial at Toledo Memorial Park. Those wishing to make donations are asked to make them in Len’s name to the Lutheran Church of Our Savior.
