Lenore K. Strauss

Lenore K. Strauss, age 76, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 18, 2021. She was born on January 11, 1945 in Toledo, OH to Leonard and Mary Nowicki. A graduate of Central Catholic High School. She was married to her high school sweetheart of 49 years Douglas, and he passed away on March 2, 2014. Lenore enjoyed going to garage sales and auctions where she was loved by many and considered them her second family. Left to cherish Lenore's memory are her brothers, Jim (Donna) Nowicki and Jerry (Julie) Nowicki; son, Douglas Jr. (Jerri); daughter, Kristie LaPlante; grandchildren, David (Sarah) Strauss, Jackie (Kevin) Hawkins and Megan LaPlante; great-grandsons, Kyle and Jackson Hawkins, Miles and Alexander Strauss; former son-in-law, Patrick LaPlante; also special friends, Jade Montrie and Phyllis Berman. Lenore is deeply loved and will be missed by her entire family and everyone who knew her. In honoring Lenore’s wishes, no services will be held at this time. However a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
