Lenora J. Gossett

Lenora Jane (Savelle) Gossett, 88, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2022. She was a resident of Heritage Village, Waterville, OH at the time of her passing.

She was born November 09, 1934 in Warren, OH; attended Leavittsburg High School until 1950 when she moved briefly to Lakeport, CA graduating from Clear Lake High School in 1952. Lakeport, CA is where she met and married the love of her life, Robert G. Gossett.

She was a graduate of Hannah E. Mullins School of Practical Nursing, Salem, OH and loved every one of the mothers and babies she helped deliver during her career as an Obstetrics nurse.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dee R. and Mildred Savelle; husband, Robert G. Gossett; son, Michael T. Gossett; brother, Richard P. Savelle.

Lenora is survived by her children, Robert E. (Mary Beth Ford) Gossett and Gail Gossett (Laurence) Nader; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.

A private family service will be held at a date to be determined. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
