Lawrence "Matt" Lohr

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lawrence "Matt" Lohr on June 9, 2023. Matt was born on November 8, 1960, and will be lovingly remembered by those who knew him.

A passionate fan of the Minnesota Vikings, Matt's love for sports was only exceeded by his delight in spending time outdoors, especially fishing on the Pere Marquette River. He will be remembered for his zest for life and always seeking out his next adventure.

Matt is survived by his loving family, including his two daughters, Meghan Lohr and Tara (Matt) Juozitis; son, Jacob (Mariah) Lohr; and his granddaughter, Olivia Juozitis. Matt also leaves behind his sister, Susan Shuman and a niece and nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Joyce Lohr.

A celebration of life will be held in the near future for family and friends! In lieu of flowers, donations are being raised to support the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Matt.
