Lawrence L. Fazenbaker

Larry is finally at peace after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia.

Before his diagnosis Larry was known for his love of yearly family vacations to Florida. Fortunately he was able to go one last time just before Christmas to see the beach again.

Larry had a love of mowing grass and taking pride in his yard. In his younger years Larry enjoyed buying and fixing up cars. He dabbled in playing the saxophone, thinking he was going to be the next Kenny G.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Karl and Lillian Fazenbaker and his high school love and partner of 54 years, Leona Fazenbaker. Larry is survived by his children, Christi (David) Sienkiewicz, Kendra Swartz and Larry (J.J.) Fazenbaker; seven grandchildren, Nick and Katie Sienkiewicz, Brandon, Jacob and Olivia Swartz, Tyler and Triston Fazenbaker; and brother, Karl (Judy) Fazenbaker. Larry had a special bond with his brother-in-law Mark Hylton and life-long friend Ron Varner.

Special thanks to his daughter Kendra. She was able to keep Larry at her home and care for him, keeping him out of a nursing home until the very end.

There will be a mass for Larry followed by burial at St Joseph’s Church, 104 W. Broadway, Maumee,Ohio on Thursday April 4, 2024 at 10:30 AM.
