Laura L. Emerson

Laura Lynn (LaSalle) Emerson passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 12, 2024 in Millbury, OH at the age of 76. Laura was born in Toledo, OH on September 10, 1947 to Emmett and Rosemary (Alameno) LaSalle.

Laura attended Whitney High School in Toledo, OH. She married her husband, James “Butch” Emerson on September 10, 1966 in Toledo, OH. She spent most of her life as a homemaker and briefly worked in retail. She enjoyed crocheting, plastic canvas and traveling the United States with her husband.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Rosemary LaSalle; her husband of 57 years, James Emerson; and her brother, Ronnie Welborn. She is survived by her brother, Francis “Butchie” LaSalle; children, John (Helen) Emerson, James (Dani) Emerson, Tina Emerson, Teri (Lewis “Eddie”) Smith, and David (Connie) Emerson; 21 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Services and celebration of life will be private.
