It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth “Ken” Wayne Yoder on April 18, 2025.
Ken was born on August 2, 1952, in Hubbard, OR to Daniel H. & Gladys V. (Egli) Yoder. Ken was the fifth of sixth children and spent his childhood growing up on a small farm outside of Hubbard, OR.
Shortly after finishing high school, Ken followed his sister and brother to Northwest Ohio where he started his own family. Ken spent the remainder of his years in Northwest Ohio, but often shared his love for Oregon and the Pacific Northwest.
Ken held many jobs throughout his lifetime showcasing knowledge and skills in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Ken enjoyed the outdoors and being with those he loved.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Harold J. Yoder and Edward D. Yoder; granddaughter, Evelyn M. Yoder.
He is survived by siblings, Norman Yoder, Heidi (Mike) Aeschliman, Mary Jane (Bob) Thagon; sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Yoder; children, Jerome (Ashley) Yoder and Jenel (Brett) Meyer; Also, seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Ken knew Jesus as a young man and kept that faith throughout his life. We find comfort knowing he is now home and at peace with our Lord & Savior.
A memorial service to honor Ken’s life will be held at Crossroads Church, 601 Bonaparte Drive, Napoleon, OH 43545 on Friday, May 9, 2025 at 11:00 am.
