Kenneth "Kenny" Williams

Kenneth "Kenny" Williams, 90, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Ebeid Center in Sylvania, surrounded by his children.

He was born on June 16, 1933 to George and Cordula (Fitzgerald) Williams, in Sylvania, Ohio. He was the tenth of twelve children.

He studied auto mechanics and graduated from Sylvania Burnham High School in May 1952. He served in the U.S. Army for four years, and he worked at Jeep for 45 years until he retired. He married Edna Nighswander in July 1957.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Cordula Williams; six brothers, Benjamin Williams, Chuck Williams, Harry Williams, Albert Hughes, Joseph Williams, and John Williams; three sisters, Laverna McDonnel, Bernice Fall, and Eleanor Hall; and grandson, Robert Williams.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Edna; his children, James (Constance) Williams, Linda (Brian) Sattelberg, Audrey (Lonnie) Hobbs, and Robin (Jeffery) Robinson; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marlene Estrada and Lelah Steele; and many nieces and nephews.

Kenneth asked that there not be a formal funeral service. The family is planning a Celebration of Life for Kenneth. The date has not been set at this time.
