Kenneth P. Kill, Sr. passed away at UTMC on October 28, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born August 25, 1942 to Bernard J. and Eva Marie (Barber) Kill in St. Vincent Hospital, Toledo. Ken attended Burnham High School from which he graduated in 1960. His life felt complete when he married Brenda Sue (Cook) Kill on July 2, 1966. Ken worked at CSX Transportation as a Conductor, Brakeman, and a Tower Operator before his retirement. His hobbies included travelling, shooting and trading guns, spending quality time with family and friends, as well as volunteering for various charities. He was a member of the New Sportsmans Club in Millbury, Ohio and the Toledo Old Newsboys Goodfellow Association. Left to cherish Ken’s memory are his wife, Brenda Sue; sons, Kenneth Jr., Jeffrey (Bobbi), and Daniel (Tanya) Kill; daughter, Michelle (Raymundo) Ybanes; and grandchildren, Kelbey, Timothy, Raymundo, Clarissa, Arion, and Makayla. Ken is also survived by brothers, James (Sharon), Fr. Donald H., Joseph (Marge), Richard (Sue) Kill; sister, Mary (Rev. Tom) Clapsaddle; and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ronald N. Kill; and sister, Ruth M. (Kill) Wheat. Memorial donations may be sent to any or all of the following charities: Toledo Old Newsboys Goodfellow Association (toledonewsboys.org), Toledo Gospel Rescue Mission (tgrm.org), Columban Fathers Missionary Society of St. Columban (columban.org). A Memorial Service will be held at New United Church of God, 701 Phillips Ave. Toledo, OH, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2019.
