Keith Allen Schrecongost

Keith Allen Schrecongost, age 60, died peacefully at Ebeid Hospice Residence on Thursday June 17, 2021 after a long battle with cancer. Keith was born at The Toledo Hospital on October 28, 1960 to Ronald and Beverly Schrecongost. Keith Graduated from Macomber High School with a trade skill in printing. He would eventually work in a few print shops before ending up at his final work place, Toledo Metropolitan Area of Council (TMACOG) as their head printer. Keith and his wife, Karen married on September 10, 1982. They had three children; Sarah, Andrew, and Abbey. Keith was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Detroit Red Wings fan. Keith’s children were his life. While working a fulltime job, he managed to also coach for his kids' sports team, softball and baseball. Keith and Karen created some wonderful memories with their children and grandchildren. The best memories were taking long road trips and going camping. Keith was an awesome cook. He made sure he made home cooked meals almost every night. He had the best sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. Keith was preceded in death by both of his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 40 years, Karen (Smith); children, Sarah (Datwon SR), Andrew and Abbey (Sean); brother Ronnie (Pam), Chris (Deb); sister Laurie (Mike) Johnson; grandchildren Anthony (Tina), Stone, and Datwon JR; a host of nieces and nephews, all whom he loved very much. Keith’s wishes were to not have any services for him. The family will be doing something in private for him. The family would like to give a very special thanks to The Flower Hospital and the wonderful staff at Ebeid Hospice Residence for taking such great care of Keith. Keith will be missed by so many.
