Kay P. Bailey

Kay P. Bailey, age 59, of Maumee passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born on January 10, 1961 to Edgar and Arleda (Cashion) Blessing in Maumee. Kay graduated from Maumee High School and from Stautzenberger College with a degree in Criminal Justice. She worked as a private police officer at BP Refinery. Later in life she worked as a supervisor at Hampton Inn in Maumee. Kay enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her seven grandchildren. Kay was preceded in life by her parents, Edgar and Arleda Blessing, and her brother, Joseph Blessing. She is survived by her loving children, William Bailey III (Lindsay Davis-Bailey), Jason Bailey, and Tiffany Keeton (Steven Hamilton); and grandchildren, Lauren, Alexis, Mckenna, Mya, Briyanna, Jackson, and Rinoa. Family would like to give special thanks to Kay’s sister and best friend, Sherry Moore, for her around-the-clock care, love, and dedication.
