Kathy Sue Crosby, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on May 12, 2026. Over the last few years, Kathy suffered from AFIB, and while it slowed her down, she continued to remain strong. Kathy was born on December 30, 1949, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Robert and June (Schwab) Mellott. She settled down in Toledo, from 1969 until her passing. Kathy graduated from Mowhalk High School, in Sycamore, and attended Stautzenberger College and the University of Toledo.

On January 5, 1985, she married Glenn Crosby, whom she met on a match maker date. The two shared a lifetime of happiness and countless memories over the last 40 years.

In the early years, Kathy worked for a Neurologist and enjoyed the medical field. She found her calling as a secretary for the law office of Timothy J. Horne, until her dying day. In her spare time, Kathy enjoyed playing tennis and badminton, collecting figurines, playing piano, reading, and watching classic movies, specifically, 50s Sy-fi styled movies. She often enjoyed long walks at Oak Openings Park, being at home with the family, and shopping at the mall. She also cherished the time spent with her beloved dogs, including her 10 Boston Terriers, and 2 Boxers. They were all family to her.

Left to cherish her memory include her devoted husband, Glenn, who will miss her smile, laughter, and sense of humor, and the closeness they shared together. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and June; and one sister, Linda Dolan.
