Kathleen M. Kaczmarski

Kathleen M. Kaczmarski, age 79, of Sylvania, Ohio passed away on January 20, 2022 at Sunset Village of Sylvania. She was born October 19, 1942 in Toledo, Ohio. Her parents were Marvin and Margaret Berry. On August 12, 1967, she married James D. Kaczmarski. Together they shared 52 years of marriage before he passed away on February 26, 2020. Kathleen was a 1960 graduate of Central Catholic High School. She later went on to become a bookkeeper for many local businesses and later in life, becoming very active in her husband’s company, Hoffman & Harpst Co. Inc. Her and her family were always active members of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Sylvania, as well as Riverview Yacht Club and the Sylvania Moose. Her hobbies included spending time with her family, boating, fishing, camping, and spending time with her pets. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; her sister, Marlene; sister, Sandra and her brother, Jim. She is survived in life by son, Jeffrey Kaczmarski and his wife, Jamie Kaczmarski and step-grandchildren, Lillian and Aiden Pierce. Many thanks to the staff at Sunset Village and Ashanti Hospice, both of whom made her final days as comforting as possible.
