Kathleen “Kathy” Henry, age 71, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Kathy was born on August 8, 1954. in Toledo,OH. To Robert and Mary Wahl .


Kathy was a woman who lived life in her own way and will be remembered for her unique personality, loving heart, and the memories she created with those closest to her. She attended Oregon City Schools and worked in many roles throughout her life, including at Ponderosa Steakhouse, Eastern Lanes Bowling Alley, ManorCare Nursing Home, and the YMCA. Kathy had a special place in her heart for animals. Spuddy, her Boston terrier and Chance, her cat will miss her dearly. She found great joy and comfort in their companionship, and her love for animals was evident to anyone who knew her. She even had several stray cats that visited, and she had names for all of them. She also enjoyed spending time at the casino, where she loved the excitement of trying her luck and embracing a bit of adventure. Whether surrounded by family, caring for her animals, or enjoying a day at the casino, Kathy found joy in the things that made her happiest. In her younger years she bowled in leagues and loved playing cards.

Kathy is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Howard “Manuel” Henry, married on June 14, 1971; her son, Jason Henry; and her daughter, Shawna (Mike) Watson; her grandsons, Justen (Karlie) Henderson, Tanner (Ali) Watson, and Aaron Henry; and her great-grandchildren, Paisley Mae, Lyla Louise, and Mila Elizabeth. She is also survived by her siblings, Ernie (Linda) Wahl, Sandy (Al) Welch, Cheryl (Frank) Montague, and Tim (Karen) Wahl, Fred (Linda) Henry and Wayne Jackson; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Wahl; her brother, Robert (Bobby) Wahl; Janet Wahl; Tim Welch; and her nephews, Ryan and Chad Wahl. As well as many of Howard's brother’s and sisters. 

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live in the hearts of those who shared her life and in the many stories and moments that will be cherished forever.
