Katherine Laverne Boothe

Katherine Laverne Boothe, born October 2, 1963, passed away peacefully in her home Sunday morning at 9:30 AM. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Kathy was surrounded by her daughter and a few grandkids.Katherine in preceded in death by her parents, Thelma and Donald Boothe. She is survived by her three children, Angela (Daniel) Sandmann, Michael (Machelle) VanDusen and Jasson (Chelsea Mathias) VanDusen; 9 grandchildren; 3 brothers, and many great friends.Kathy was always about spending time with her family and grandkids. She was never afraid to tell it how it was. Kathy was also an avid teddy bear collector. Katherine faught a very long battle with cancer. In the end the cancer won, but she won too. Katherine is now up in heaven rejoicing, celebrating, cancer free. She is now our angel watching over all of us. Mom, this isnt goodbye its we will see you again in heaven. We love you and youre always in our hearts.
