Karen J. Souza

Karen J. Souza (Nanae) passed away peacefully at home on January 1, 2024.

She was born to Elsie and Lawrence Souza in Somerville, MA on December 14, 1961.

As a proud Army veteran, Karen also graduated from college with multiple Associates degrees in healthcare. She loved making crafts, painting, spending time with her family, and making people laugh. She knew how to light up a room with her beautiful smile, silly voices, and contagious laugh.

Karen was preceded in death by her mother, Elsie Souza. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Kamiesha and Karleena Souza; six grandchildren, K’mya, Antonio, Olivea, Jerina, Mataya, Omari; along with many other cherished family and friends.

The family requests that those who wish to express their sympathy to donate to Moms House or the Veterans Association in lieu of sending flowers.
