Karen Osborne

Karen Sue Osborne, age 68, a lifelong resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2026.

Born on February 11, 1958, Karen was the daughter of the late David and Ruthella Garwacki. She graduated from Whitmer High School in 1976, and spent most of her life working as a dedicated bookkeeper, a profession where her sharp mind, attention to detail, and reliability shone brightly.

Outside of her professional life, Karen found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially bowling with friends and family, where she also met her husband. Above all else, her greatest passion and deepest love were reserved for her family, her grandchildren, and her beloved dog, Harley Rose.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, David and Ruthella, and her husband, Michael Osborne.

Karen is survived by her daughter, Jessica Tucker; her son, Andrew Velte; and her sister, Debbie Freels. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Tyler, Madison, and Charlotte, who brought love, laughter and happiness to her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In accordance with Karen's wishes, the family has chosen to mourn privately, and no public services will be held.
