Karen K. Hamdar

Karen "Kay" Hamdar died peacefully in her home in Holland, OH on September 7th, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born in Toledo, OH to Ronald White and Sharon Heffelbower on June 10th, 1969.

Karen's greatest achievements was graduating from college after raising her family and her four daughters. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and her cats. Karen also enjoyed gardening and spending time in her yard. She took up a new hobby, scrapbooking, to highlight all of her wonderful memories with family.

She is survived by her mother, Sharon White; her brother, Steven White; her aunt, Terry Marland; her cousins, Jodi Foreman, Rick Long, Kim Lott, and Joyce Marland; her daughters, Yesmeen (Daniel) Brownlee, Alia Hamdar, Fatima (Elijah) Hamdar and Mae Rashdan; her grandchildren, Daniel Jr., Ameerah, Nailah, Giovani, Inez, and Mateo. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald White Jr.; her uncle, Mike Marland; her aunt, Linda Long; and her grandparents, Gerald and Joyce.
