Justine Fouts, age 66, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 11, 2026, at the University of Toledo Medical Center, surrounded by loving family. Justine was born on August 3, 1959, in Milton, Florida. As the daughter of a professional career Navy officer, she spent her childhood moving throughout many major cities across the United States, proudly calling each place “home” along the way. No matter where life took her, Justine remained a faithfully devoted daughter, loving wife, cherished mother and grandmother, and a friend to everyone who was fortunate enough to know her.
Justine shared an especially close and beautiful bond with her mother, Carol. The two were truly the best of friends, creating countless treasured memories together over the years. Whether traveling across the country, playing euchre, searching for morel mushrooms, enjoying Hallmark movie marathons, or cooking side by side, their time together was filled with laughter, love, and companionship. Though their special bond can never be broken, it will be deeply missed.
In 2007, Justine married the love of her life, Stanley “Stan” Fouts, during a beautiful beach ceremony in Nassau, Bahamas. Affectionately known to clients and friends as “JT,” Justine built a remarkable career rooted in creativity, education, and dedication to her craft.
Throughout her professional journey, Justine gained extensive experience managing model rooms and preparing models for runway and stage presentations for various national corporations. She was widely recognized for her expertise in color, styling, service, education, and salon business management. Through her secondary company, accredited by the State of Ohio, Justine provided advanced salon instruction and educational classes throughout Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois, as well as nationally in California and New York.
On the national stage, Justine’s talents and professionalism led to successful roles as a regional performing artist, salon educator, and model room coordinator for major beauty industry companies.
